Lured by the Cherry Blossoms

When Mrs. Howard came to Macon for the first time the cheery blossoms were in full bloom. Now she leaves in September. Her legacy is a beautiful new building on the Macon campus, an integrated library system, now about to migrate to the Web, and strong staffs in Atlanta and Macon. She will be missed. Her Florida home will be nearby so we hope to see her often in the years ahead.
